Access Statement

The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavor to help. We aim to cater for the needs of most visitors in our guest house, however as all our bedrooms are on the first floor we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users.

There are several bus stops within 1-3 minutes of our front entrance and there is a frequent bus service.

St Annes on the Sea train station is 1-2 minutes away by car.

Local taxi service that has accessible taxis if required; we can make a booking for you (Taxi office is adjacent to railway station).

On arrival at the property 4 marked private guest parking spaces are available on Springfield Road.The surface is level, flat and has a drop kerb; the front entrance can be reached by pavement around the property.We can assist guests with luggage.

Front door has 2 steps each 17cm high, inside door has 1 step 17cm.Corridors have a good colour contrast and are well lit,flooring covering on all main areas is short pile carpet.The guest lounge and dining room are on the ground floor.There are 16 stairs to the first floor where all bedrooms are located (stairs are 18cm high, 26cm deep, 88cm wide).

Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor, furniture can be moved on request. Menus are provided in large print by prior arrangement.

Guest Lounge - comfortable chairs and settee, TV with teletext, radio, CD player, books and various games available.

All 5 bedrooms are on the first floor with en suite walk in shower or private facilities. Fitted short pile carpets in bedrooms (en suite tile),TV with Teletext and Freeview.

Free Wireless internet, mobile phone reception is generally good.

We are able to use the front and back doors in the need of an evacuation; the fire alarm rings continuously if evacuation is needed. If you require more assistance for evacuating please notify us on arrival.

None of the following are available in the guest house; Laundry, Entertainment or Room Service.
